God, what a special treat to get to be close to you this morning. You’re words are sweeter than honey and a soothing balm to my soul. In my garden, out of my head, you affirm the work of my hands, my heart, and my soul. Thank you for being so present in times of hurt, in times of joy, and in times where both seem to occupy the same space.
Up close, I can feel the texture of your clothing in my new hammock! Up close, I can feel your chest moving up and down with every breath of the wind. Up close, I can smell your sweet fragrance in the flowers and the leaves. I see your beauty in all that you have made…here in this place.
Today I worship you here, up close, in the stillness of my garden, and in it’s business of doing it’s work to glorify you! I am overwhelmed!
Psalm 25:22-23 “May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in You. Redeem (me) O God, from all (my) troubles!”
You are good. You are faithful. You are true. And I praise your mighty, holy name! Amen
